Flooring for Doncaster's most sought-after suburb
Bessacarr has long been one of Doncaster's most desirable addresses. Mature detached homes line the Bawtry Road, quiet cul-de-sacs run off it, and Doncaster Racecourse and Cantley Park are on the doorstep. Next door, Cantley adds a large area of 1960s and 1970s family housing, and beyond lie Branton, Old Cantley and the newer homes around Auckley. Our showroom on Sandringham Road is only about two miles away, so a home visit is easy to arrange.
Surefit Carpets is a Doncaster family business, trading since 1998. We are an approved retailer for Karndean, Quick-Step, Brintons and Ulster Carpets. Our own team carries out every fitting.
Ideas for Bessacarr and Cantley homes
Large detached houses in Bessacarr
Many Bessacarr homes have had big rear extensions or orangeries. These spaces come alive with a considered hard floor. Karndean luxury vinyl in a wide oak plank, or a herringbone LVT layout with a design strip, gives a bespoke finish. It is warm, quiet and practical for family life. In the formal lounge or principal bedroom, a woven carpet from Brintons or Ulster Carpets brings a depth of quality that suits the house.
Cantley family homes
Cantley's houses are often being updated room by room. Popular projects include replacing a dated hall, stairs and landing with a hard-wearing wool-rich twist, and putting Quick-Step laminate or Karndean through a knocked-through kitchen-diner. Bedrooms often get a soft saxony that keeps them warm and quiet.
New homes towards Auckley
For newer properties near Hayfield Lane and Auckley, a full upgrade through our Whole Home Packages is the simplest route. One visit, one plan and one fitting team.

Close enough for second opinions
Bessacarr customers often take advantage of being so near the showroom. After the home visit, many call in to see a whole Karndean board or a large piece of carpet before signing off. We are happy to bring a second set of samples back to the house if you are torn between colours in a north- or south-facing room.
