Doncaster's family-run flooring showroom, since 1998
Surefit Carpets has been part of Doncaster life since 1998. Our showroom at 91 Sandringham Road in Intake is our only premises, and it's where our own fitting team is based. Doncaster homeowners can choose in either of two ways. You can browse the showroom, where there is free customer parking (just register your car on arrival), or book a free Choose at Home consultation and have a curated selection brought to your door.
As an approved retailer for Karndean, Quick-Step, Brintons and Ulster Carpets, we can show you full ranges rather than a handful of rolls. You will get straight advice on what will work in your rooms.
Flooring for every kind of Doncaster home
Period houses near Town Fields and Thorne Road
The Victorian and Edwardian villas around Town Fields, Bennetthorpe and Thorne Road have tall ceilings, deep skirtings and handsome staircases. They suit carpets with weight and craftsmanship, such as a woven Wilton carpet or patterned Axminster carpet from Brintons or Ulster Carpets, perhaps finished with stair rods. In hallways where the original tiles have gone, Karndean Art Select parquet gives a period look that is easy to keep.
Wheatley Hills, Bessacarr and the leafy suburbs
The 1930s detached and semi-detached homes of Wheatley Hills, Intake and Bessacarr have often been extended. That opens the way for a continuous Karndean floor through the kitchen, dining and family room, with a soft 100% wool carpet in the lounge.
New homes across the city
New developments on the edges of the city, from Lakeside to the villages along the M18, often come with basic flooring. We can replace it with Karndean or Quick-Step downstairs and better carpet upstairs, or fit the whole house through one of our Whole Home Packages.
Why Doncaster chooses Surefit

- Free home consultations, measuring and quotes across the city
- Our own Doncaster-based fitters, never subcontractors
- A 2-year fitting guarantee on every fitting
Why choosing locally helps
Being in Doncaster means you can see samples at home, then pop into the showroom to compare the final options on large boards, all within the same week. It also means the people who measured your home are the people who fit it, which avoids the misunderstandings that come with passing jobs between companies. We visit every part of the city, from Balby and Warmsworth to Kirk Sandall and Scawsby.
